A big mistake I made in business is enjoying wins without understanding why they happened.
If you don't understand why wins happen, you won't be able to repeat them.
Or worse, you will waste your time trying to repeat them with the wrong steps.
And that is just frustrating...
Before you take an action, answer and understand:
- What is the goal and objective of this action?
- Why are we doing it, and does it need to be done?
- How exactly are we going to do it?
If you don't track it, you cant tweak it...
... And if you don't tweak it, it cant improve.
Tweak from there and do better.
